CHICKEN AND SPINACH HAMBURGER RECIPE
H amburguesa with chicken and spinach . A delicious and very healthy recipe. Burgers do not have a very good reputation. That is because it is associated with fast food and junk food. But those cooked at home don’t have to be healthy. In fact, if you want even more quality, you can ask at the butcher shop to chop the meat you prefer to your choice.
On this occasion, we will make it even healthier by adding vegetables. In the past, we have made many and very different hamburgers. Even some vegan, such as tofu and chickpeas , very easy to make and it was delicious. This one is even simpler. CHICKEN AND SPINACH HAMBURGER
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
- 2 chopped chicken breasts
- 350g spinach
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 handful of fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
RECIPE OF THE CHICKEN AND SPINACH HAMBURGER:
1.- In a large casserole, we put a good amount of water and a handful of salt. We heat it and when it boils, we add the spinach. We let them cook for about 4 minutes. After that time, remove the spinach to a bowl of cold water to cut the cooking. Next, we drain them from the water and reserve them.
2.- Put in a large bowl or bowl the minced chicken meat, eggs and breadcrumbs. We season it and add the spinach, onion, garlic cloves, parsley and spinach, all finely chopped. When we have everything, we mix the ingredients until they are fully integrated. Then, we take a little of this mixture and shape our chicken and spinach burger.
3.- Finally, we put a splash of oil in a pan and heat it over medium heat. When it is hot, add the hamburger and let it cook for about 5 minutes. After this time, we turn it over and cook it another 5 minutes on the other side.
When they are ready, we place them on bread together with tomato or the ingredients that we like the most. So, we will have the chicken and spinach burger ready . Easy, fast and healthy. A recipe that everyone will like too.
